For this project, the objective was to take an image of a person and to completely remove them—leaving only their clothes behind, as if they had vanished. I focused on modifying an image using non-destructive editing techniques such as removing, adding, and replacing visual elements.
I implemented tools such as the Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, and layer masks to manipulate targeted areas. This included patching over complex textures (fabric and skin), and convincingly filling in spaces left behind when objects were removed. The key attention was placed on brush hardness, transparency, and edge transitions to ensure seamless blending between edited and original areas to make the image feel and look natural and untouched.
